摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide each vehicle with traffic information to make each vehicle behave in a desired way for preventing a traffic accident. SOLUTION: A high order device 700 creates traffic information about all lanes; and an information provision determining device 400 transmits the traffic information from an information-providing DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) roadside device 300 by means of an electric wave that propagates over a wide range. A vehicle 101 receives this traffic information. Then, a light sensor 200 transmits lane information by means of a light wave that propagates only in a narrow range, and the vehicle 101 receives this lane information. The vehicle 101 extracts traffic information on a cruising lane indicated by the lane information, for example, detecting that there is a vehicle 103 ahead waiting to turn right on the cruising lane and urges the driver to reduce speed or change the lane. Further, an evaluation device 800 collects drive log data of the vehicle 101 via a log-collecting DSRC roadside device 500 and evaluates information provision according to the drive log data so as to control the provision of information from the information provision determining device 400.
