PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for a chlorine-containing polymer, which includes an excellent electric insulation-improving action, and does not reduce other properties such as thermal stability. SOLUTION: The additive for a chlorine-containing polymer includes a composition containing three components of a silicic acid component, an aluminum component and a phosphoric acid component, wherein a part of or the whole of the aluminum component is aluminum phosphate.
