The slip-on cap (2) for the thermal decoupling of facade substructures has the shape of an angle piece, whereby one leg of the angle piece serves to eliminate the direct contact between the wall-side fastening element (1) and fastening element (5) of the facade surface, and the other leg eliminates the direct contact between the wall-side fastening element and outside air. The slip-on cap can be adapted to various wall-side fastening elements on account of its possible varied dimensions.
