PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material A which is formed by a core material 10 as a synthetic resin foaming mold and outer layer molding materials 30, 50 and can maintain a designated strength as a whole, in the packing material A for a machine component wherein a plurality of machine components are piled up at a multi-stage by packing the plurality of machine components and is improved so as to be easy for separate collection during recycle. SOLUTION: The core material 10 as a synthetic resin foaming mold having a plurality of article storage recessed portions is packed from upper and lower sides by upper and lower outer layer molding materials 30 and 50 made of resin sheets molded at dimensions capable of covering the whole core material at a shape along an outline shape of the core material 10 and at the state that there is no gap between the outer layer molding materials and the core material 10. At this time, the upper and lower outer layer molding materials 30 and 50 are detachably integrated as a fitting structure wherein flanges 37 and 57 are respectively formed on the peripheries of the upper and lower outer layer molding materials and first projecting portions 38 and second projecting portions 58 are respectively formed on the flanges.
