PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arranging, in a ball joint bearing seat which stores a ball stud in a slidable state through lubricant, a receiving part of the ball stud and a retaining part of the lubricant, capable of improving the product life and manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: A ball seat 130 as the bearing seat is formed to have a substantially U-shaped vertical sectional shape, and a spherical sliding part 132 is formed on its inner circumferential surface along the outer circumferential surface shape of a ball part 113 of the ball stud 110. A number of receiving parts 134 protruded in a planar manner are formed, along the circumferential direction, on the thinnest part in a lower hemispherical part 132a of the sliding part 132 which receives the axial load of the ball stud 110. A recessed retaining part 135 is formed around each receiving part 134 to retain grease 150 for lubricating the sliding part 132 including the surface of the receiving part 134.
