<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the paths of a lower layer path and a higher layer path so as to satisfy traffic conditions, and to reduce cost as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A network design apparatus 1 has a storage means and a path calculation means. The storage means stores information on a lower layer link 14, a lower layer path 16, and a higher layer path 18; and traffic conditions prescribing the upper limit of a traffic volume. The path calculation means selects the higher path 18 as an object of replacement, makes a trial of path replacement of the higher path 18 so that the traffic conditions are met, and repeatedly takes steps for determining whether or not to execute replacement, based on the change from a path evaluation value of the higher path 18 before the replacement to a path evaluation value of the higher path 18 after the replacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
