<p>PURPOSE:To provide possibility of fitting a golf club to shafts having different outside dias. with no fear of dislocation after fitting, by using a socket consisting of plastic having shape memory effect. CONSTITUTION:A socket for golf club is made of a plastic which has a shape memory effect. This socket not only has such a conventional functions as to prevent shaft from breakage and the head from cracking, but also a function to be fitted on a golf club to couple it with any shaft with no fear of dislocation when it strikes a golf ball. Concentration of the weight in the body of club head provides accurate throwing of the golf ball farther, compared with a socket made in a shape memory alloy. This also provides compliance with shafts in different dias. to facilitate stock management, and the cost for facility such as dies can also be saved.</p> |
