PURPOSE: A power supply device with a low voltage breaking unit is provided to improve the reliability of a product by preventing the malfunction or damage to components by protecting a power circuit from an AC input voltage lower than a rated voltage. CONSTITUTION: A line filter(10,50) removes noises included in AC power by receiving AC power from the outside. A rectifier circuit(70) converts AC power into DC power by rectifying the AC power inputted from the line filter. A switching unit(30) is installed between the line filter and the rectifier circuit. The switching unit opens and closes the output line of the line filter by switching according to an external control signal. A low voltage preventing unit(90) breaks the power circuit by turning off the switching unit when the voltage outputted from the rectifier circuit is lower than the preset reference voltage.
