PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device including a protective layer on which the nano pattern is formed and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by shortening the process by forming the nano pattern of the protective layer with simple process. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(106) is formed on a transparent substrate(105). An organic light emitting layer(107) emitting the light is formed on the first electrode. A second electrode(101) is formed on the organic light emitting layer. A capping layer(102) is formed on the second electrode. A protective layer(104) is formed on the capping layer.
