PURPOSE: An artificial cartilage substitute is provided, which reduces pain in cartilage plate damage within a joint and delays progressing to arthritis. CONSTITUTION: An artificial cartilage substitute is constituted as follows. The artificial cartilage substitute is a substitute of a balloon shape inserted after operation using an endoscope. A balloon is filled with cartilage injection solution which is injected within a joint cavity. According to the movement of the articular surface, the balloon appropriately changes and minimizes limit of the joint movement. Sodium hyaluronate inside the balloon absorbs impact. |
