<p>PURPOSE: A light unit having fast response speed and a display device equipping the same are provided to arrange at least one LED(Light Emitting Diode) in a side view mode. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of groove parts is formed in one side of a light guide plate(120). A light guide part(130) is formed in one side of groove parts. One or more LED(115) is incident to the light guide plate a light guide plate. The light guide plate and the light guide part are formed into the same material.
