METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TIN OXIDE PARTICLES AND TIN OXIDE SOL

PURPOSE: Tin oxide particles are provided to ensure high conductivity while various dopant elements with high price or high environmental load are not used. CONSTITUTION: Tin oxide particles include other plural species of tin with different 2-4 valence and do not substantially include a dopant element. A method for preparing a tin oxide sol comprises the steps of: mixing an aqueous solution containing divalent tin with alkali to form the hydroxide of divalent tin in the liquid; and oxidizing the hydroxide of divalent tin in the liquid to oxidize a part of divalent tin into greater than divalent and tetravalent tin.
