PURPOSE: An information storage device comprising a magnetic track and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to fabricate a magnetic track having an accurately controlled shape without the feature deterioration caused by etching. CONSTITUTION: An information storage device includes a seed layer(110), a mold layer(150) and a magnetic track(200). The seed layer is formed on a substrate(100), and the mold layer is formed on the seed layer and has a hole(H1) which exposes some of the seed layer. The magnetic track is formed on the exposed seed layer and moves the magnetic wall. A protrusion pattern which passes through the hole is formed on a bottom portion of the hole, and a notch corresponding to the protrusion pattern is formed at the bottom plane of the magnetic track.
