The device (2) has a flange (4) to partially enclose a pole, where an end of the flange comprises a tab (4A) pierced with an opening. The opening permits passage of a rod of a bolt (5). An end (5A) of the bolt is anchored on a section of a traffic sign. A closing cross-piece (7) joins rods of a screw, and slides on the rods, where a fixing end of the bolt is a head of the screw. The cross-piece is arranged between the tab of the support and the end of the bolt for forming a belt to fasten the pole.
