PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OSD display control program which can display an OSD screen in a size suitable for a size of a display screen.

SOLUTION: The OSD display control program makes a computer of an image display device perform: a total pixel number input step (S101) of inputting the total number of pixels of the display screen as total pixel number information; an area ratio input step (S102) of inputting area ratio information from an area ration storage part; and an area pixel number determination step (S103) of determining the number of pixels of an area for OSD display on the basis of the total pixel number information and the area ratio information.
