PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizer for a vinylic monomer without forming a polymer or clogging the interior of a pipe in the vapor discharging pipe provided between a polymerization vessel and a condenser, and to provide a method for producing a vinylic polymer by which a polymer solution free from mixing of insolubles such as cullets can stably be produced. SOLUTION: The polymerizer for the vinylic monomer includes: a mixing tank for mixing the vinylic monomer and a polymerization initiator, and preparing a mixed solution; the polymerization vessel for heating the mixed solution fed from the mixing tank, and carrying out polymerization; the vapor discharging pipe for discharging the vapor generated in the polymerization vessel; the condenser for cooling the vapor discharged from the polymerization vessel through the vapor discharging pipe; a liquid returning pipe for returning the liquid condensed with the condenser to the polymerization vessel; and a temperature controlling means for controlling the temperatures of the vapor and the vapor condensate in the vapor discharging pipe.
