<p>Use of waste heat during thermodynamic processes in power plants for the manufacture of distilled water as an electrolysis medium, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) combined use of waste heat from power plants, thermal power plants, combined heat and power plants (carbon-, oil-, gas-, nuclear-power plants, power plants based on biomass, other carbohydrates and hydrogen) and the electroenergy from regenerative energy converters (wind turbines, photovoltaic devices and tidal power plants) for improving the efficiency during electrolysis of water for generating hydrogen (as energy carrier) and oxygen, where the utilization of waste heat is through material use of hot water and/or steam during the electrolysis; and (2) use of a heat exchanger in which waste heat and residual heat of respective processes are utilized by suitable heat exchanger in the subsequent quasi thermal electrolysis cells arranged in a row and are thermally provided for temperature increasing.</p> |
