<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for motors, which can stop a motor safely by estimating a motor current and switching current feedback to a motor estimated current based on a stop processor at motor current abnormality, and a method of stopping the motor at current abnormality detection. <P>SOLUTION: The controller includes a current estimator which estimates a current in a motor, a current abnormality detector which detects abnormality in the current, and the stop processor which stops the motor based on the estimated current until the motor stops at current abnormality based on the current abnormality detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
