PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of suppressing unevenness of heat generation of a current collector in an in-plane direction.

SOLUTION: A cathode current collector 11 is formed of cathode conductive layers 111 (conductive material) on both surfaces of a reinforcing layer 140. The cathode conductive layer 111 is formed to become thicker in thickness from a first end part 112 side toward a second end part 113 side opposite to the first end part 112. Then, a cathode terminal lead 20 connecting electrically a cathode current collector tab 18 is connected with the second end part 113 side.
