PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the following compound (I) stably in an aqueous carrier, and, as another subject, to provide a preparation of an excellent lyophilized compound (I), having uniform aspect, excellent in regeneration, causing no disintegration of a contained material of the compound (I) in storage and excellent in quality. SOLUTION: There is provided a lyophilized pharmaceutical composition which contains sodium [[3-(2-amino-1,2-dioxoethyl)-2-ethyl-1-(phenylmethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl]oxy]acetate (named compound (I)), a solubilizer, and a stabilizer.
