PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid injection device, a fluid injection head control method and a driving waveform generator, capable of indicating generation timing of a driving waveform, without transmitting a timing signal through a timing signal line, from a waveform assignment signal transmitting part to a waveform generation part. SOLUTION: A control system for a plurality of recording heads 17 includes the N-number of data control substrates 20 (superordinate substrate), and the N×M number of head module substrates 21 (subordinate substrate). A data transfer module 69 in a data control substrate 20 side transfers a data DATA in which a waveform kind data WD (header) generated by a waveform kind data generating part 67 is added to a delivery data SI read out from a buffer 68, at a period synchronized with the timing signal TS generated based on an encoder pulse signal ES by a PLL 66. A driving waveform signal generating circuit 73 in a head module 21 side transmits a driving waveform signal COM to the recording heads 17, at a period synchronized with reception timing of the data DATA.
