PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably determine whether to stop a calibration when a printing request occurs during the calibration. SOLUTION: On accepting image data during performance of the calibration, when the number of sheets which is the number of sheets regarding the printing of the image data added to an accumulated printed number of sheets when the calibration is performed is less than the calibration limit number of sheets, a calibration control part stops the calibration and an image forming part performs the printing based on the image data. In this case, when the added number of sheets is a calibration limit number of sheets or more, the calibration control part continues the calibration as it is and the image forming part performs the printing based on the image data after termination of the calibration.
