PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-barrier sheet in which the separation of a gas-barrier moisture absorbing film is difficult and the structure of which is advantageous in view of production efficiency and costs, a method for producing the gas-barrier sheet, a seal using the gas-barrier sheet, and an apparatus using the seal. SOLUTION: The gas-barrier sheet 1A is used which includes a base material 2 and the gas-barrier moisture absorbing film 3 formed on the base material 2, wherein the gas-barrier moisture absorbing film 3 is formed from a region A in which the atomic number ratio of an alkaline earth metal to silicon 1 is≤0.1, a region B in which the atomic number ratio of an alkaline earth metal to silicon 1 is >0.1 and <10, and a region C in which the atomic number ratio of silicon to an alkaline earth metal 1 is≤0.1 which are arranged in turn from the base material 2 side.
