ON-VEHICLE APPARATUS, AND RETRIEVAL METHOD IN ON-VEHICLE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus and a retrieval method for the on-vehicle apparatus which are capable of futility inquiring a retrieval to a center based on new and popular POI (Point Of Interest) information. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle apparatus (100) includes: a transmission means (104) for transmitting version information of POI information to the center (500); a receiving means (104) for enabling the on-vehicle apparatus to receive POI retrieval propriety information indicating whether the center can perform the POI information retrieval of content information or not from the center; and a display part (103) for displaying the content information determined as information that the center can perform the POI information retrieval of the content information from the POI retrieval propriety information received by the receiving means.
