<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device of a content providing device, which supports further various forms of input operations. <P>SOLUTION: The content providing device includes a user input section which includes a plurality of key buttons and a plurality of contact sensors and generates a plurality of pieces of button information and a plurality of contact signals; a contact sensor control unit which acquires a contact position or contact position moving direction in response to the plurality of contact signals, generates, in a scroll mode, scroll information corresponding to the contact position or contact position moving direction, and generates, in a cursor moving mode, cursor moving information corresponding to the contact position; and a main control unit which sets a display mode according to the display form of a content, scrolls, in the scroll mode, a screen by the scroll information generated through the contact sensor control unit, and moves, in the cursor moving mode, a cursor displayed on the screen by the cursor moving information generated through the contact sensor control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
