<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of a memory capacity used for correcting a displacement of each read position of imaging element rows when an image of an original is enlarged and read by using a plurality of imaging element rows disposed side by side. <P>SOLUTION: When an original is read at a vertical scanning designated magnification of 200%, a scanning velocity in a vertical scanning direction of an original is reduced to half of that at a vertical scanning designated magnification of 100%. Furthermore, among imaging data of each row obtained in an imaging element row for each RGB color shifted in a vertical scanning direction, only imaging data on odd-numbered rows is output, and imaging data of even-number rows is discharged. Accordingly, as for a memory used for gap correction for correcting a read position of an original of each imaging element row when an original is read at a vertical designated magnification of 200%, a capacity used for gap correction when an original is read at a vertical scanning magnification Y of 100% is enough. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
