<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power converter which adjusts effective power between CMC converters each connected with a plurality of systems without insulating a DC/DC converter or a transformer. <P>SOLUTION: This power converter supplies effective power from one system to the other system by a power conversion system, which has a first Y-connected cascade type multilevel converter (CMC) interconnected via a first interconnected reactor to a first power system, a second CMC interconnected via a second interconnected reactor to a second power system, a first Y-connected reactor connected to the first power system, and a second Y-connected reactor interconnected to the second system. In the system, the neutral point of the first CMC and the neutral point of the second CMC are connected with each other and also the neutral point of the first Y-connected reactor and the neutral point of the second Y-connected reactor are connected with each other, and the neutral point of the first and second CMCs and the neutral points of the first and second Y-connected reactors are made DC link. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
