PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel capable of moving forward even in a state that a driving device is not driven and having a function of moving backward freely. SOLUTION: The flywheel includes: an outer sprocket 1 on the inner circumference of which ratchet teeth are formed; a body which has a cylindrical body inserted inside the outer sprocket, an accommodation groove formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body, a recessed groove provided on the bottom surface of the accommodation groove, an elastic part 23 installed in the recessed groove, a pawl 24 provided in the accommodation groove so as to correspond to the ratchet teeth 11, and an inner recessed accommodation chamber provided outside; a rotary shaft which is inserted into the body and attached to a driving gear inserted into the body at the other side of the body; a spiral spring which is accommodated inside the accommodation chamber of the body with an external end attached to the inner wall surface of the accommodation chamber of the body with an internal end attached to the rotary shaft; a cover provided on the surface opposite to the accommodation chamber of the body; and the driving gear 6. In this case, a connecting rod 243 is extended from the pawl and one end of the connecting rod is extended outside the body and attached to a control rod. Thereby, the control rod drives the pawl to rotate it eccentrically in the accommodation groove, so that the pawl can be separated from the ratchet teeth of the outer sprocket.
