PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head capable of suppressing a difference of an area factor between a pixel recorded in a forward direction and a pixel recorded in a backward direction and suppressing generation of a band-like unevenness in a record image when two-way recording is executed. SOLUTION: The recording head 10 has a jetting aperture 7 for jetting liquid. The recording head 10 reciprocatively moves for scanning in a direction intersecting a transportation direction of the recording medium, and executes printing by jetting the liquid from the jetting aperture 7 when the head scans in two-way directions of the forward direction and the backward another direction. A recessive and protrusive shape is formed to reduce a difference, between the scan in the forward direction and the scan in the backward direction, of a flow amount of flow gas flowing between the recording head 10 and the recording medium.
