<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an inlet portion allowing a developer to be introduced. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device (Gy) includes: a second inlet portion (E2) allowing a developer to flow from a first storing chamber (6) to a second storing chamber (7); a first carrying member (21), which is a first carrying member (21) for carrying the developer in the first storing chamber (6) in a first carrying direction (Yb) toward a second inlet portion (E2), and includes a rotating shaft (22), a main carrying blade (23d) provided on the outer periphery of the rotating shaft (22) to carry the developer in the first carrying direction (Yb) and a circulating carrying blade (23c) disposed on the outer periphery of the rotating shaft (22) to carry the developer in the opposite direction to the first carrying direction (Yb); and a gap (SP3) formed in the axial direction of the rotating shaft (22) between the downstream end in the first carrying direction (Yb) of the main carrying blade (23d) and the upstream end in the first carrying direction (Yb) of the circulating carrying blade (23c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
