<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding voltage compensator which can suppress troubles caused by an inrush current. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding voltage compensator equipped in an AC electric railway system including a series capacitor 3M(3T) having one end connected with a Scott transformer 1 and a feeder 2M(2T) connected with the other end of the series capacitor 3M(3T) is further provided with a load current detector 8M(8T), a feeding voltage detector 10M(10T), a transformer 5M(5T), an inverter 6M(6T), and a control unit 50M(50T) which calculates the reactive power based on the voltage detected by the feeding voltage detector 10M(10T) and the current detected by the load current detector 8M(8T), and issues an instruction so that an inverter 6M(6T) does not operate when the reactive power has a phase lead ahead of the voltage of the feeder 2M(2T). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
