PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover the heat of a disc rotor while suppressing an influence to a brake pad. SOLUTION: In this brake cooling device cooling the disc rotor 20 applying a braking force to a wheel by pressing the brake pad, a heat recovery member 64 recovers the heat of the disc rotor 20 by contacting with a pressed face 20a pressed by the brake pad of the disc rotor 20. In a cooling mechanism, a cooling liquid is circulated in a passage 64a of the heat recovery member 64, and the heat recovery member 64 is cooled by cooling the cooling liquid by an external radiator of the heat recovery member 64. In an ECU 80, by on/off-controlling a solenoid 70, the contact and non-contact of the heat recovery member 64 and the disc rotor 20 are controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
