The out-of-home media unit has a display unit, where a control unit (10) is equipped for controlling the display on the display unit. The control unit has a synchronization unit (40) for synchronizing the display on the display unit. The media unit is designed as a change poster display with a poster changer. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling an out-of-home media unit.
