PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely set a permission to be imparted to a software entity operated on a home gateway from a center, and to prevent information managed by each of the plurality of software entities sharing the same home gateway from being withdrawn mutually by the software entities. SOLUTION: The home gateway software permission management system is provided with means for transmitting a software identifier for specifying the software entity and permission information to be imparted to the software entity so as to limit an execution right on operations when the software entity is operated on a software execution environment 10 on the home gateway 1 from a center unit 2 to the home gateway 1, and setting the permission on the basis of only the permission information sent from the center unit 2 on the side of the home gateway 1.
