PURPOSE: A motion adaptive high dynamic range image obtaining apparatus and a method thereof are provided to drastically increase picture quality. CONSTITUTION: An image obtaining apparatus(100) comprises an image analyzing unit(101), a correcting unit(102), an image combining unit(103), and a single image selecting unit(104). The first correcting unit corrects global motion of the second image. The second correcting unit corrects local motion of the second image. The image combining unit receives an output image of the first and second correcting units.
