PURPOSE: An English character input device of a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to arrange English characters considering a frequency of using English characters and a continuous input correlation, thereby continuously inputting characters. CONSTITUTION: A keypad input unit(110) comprises a plurality of keys for inputting English characters. A display unit(120) outputs an English character by input of the keypad input unit. An English character completing unit(130) reads an English character corresponding to input of the keypad input unit from a pre-stored DB. The English character completing unit provides the read English characters to the display unit. A controller(140) controls the keypad input unit, the display unit, and the English character completing unit.
