PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism changing an outlet without changing the direction of an air cleaner according to the status of installation.SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes a body 1 having suction inlets in both sides of the front surface and both sides of the body 1, the first outlet 2 formed in the upper surface of the body 1, the second outlets formed in the right and left sides of the body 1 and an upper lid 9 arranged in the first outlet 2 to open or close the first outlet 2 through motor control according to results detected by an installation status detecting portion 10 formed in the bottom of the air cleaner. When the installation status detecting portion 10 detects a wall suspension installation, the first outlet 2 is closed to keep clean air discharged from the second outlet. When the installation status detecting portion 10 detects a floor laying installation, the first outlet 2 is opened to keep clean air discharged from both the first outlet 2 and the second outlet. |
