PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking play apparatus having a compact-sized rocking mechanism compared with conventional ones and minimizing a risk of catching an object and to provide other rocking apparatuses.SOLUTION: This rocking apparatus 1 is formed by mounting an upper structure 2 to a rocking mechanism section 3, and the rocking mechanism section 3 includes a base 4 fixedly erected on an installation surface, a first rocking joint 5 whose one end is pivoted to the base 4, a second rocking joint 6 whose lower end is pivoted at the other end of the first rocking joint 5, and a third rocking joint 10 which supports a turning central point (a connecting point C) set near an intermediate part of the second rocking joint 6. The turning radius of the first rocking joint 5 is defined to such a dimension as being smaller than the turning radius of the second rocking joint 6, and the turning central point of the second rocking joint 6 is vertically movably supported by the third rocking joint 10 at an upper part of a connecting point A. |
