PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone separator allowing collected objects collected by the rotation of a helical compressing part and twined around the compressing part to be easily taken out of a collection container.SOLUTION: In the cyclone separator, air sucked to a circumference part of the collection container from an air inlet disposed in the circumferential direction is swirled along the approximately cylindrical inner surface, and after that, the sucked air is discharged from the center of the collection container via a filter means, so that relatively large collected objects included in air are captured on the bottom of the collection container and relatively small collected objects are captured in the filter means. The cyclone separator has a compressing member within the collection container. The compressing member has a helical curved surface around a vertical axis of the collection container and is rotatable around the vertical axis. The compressing member is rotatable by operating an operating member which can be operated from outside of the cyclone separator. |
