PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive package for light emitting element storage, which can improve light emission efficiency of light emitted from a light emitting element, and at the same time, can improve heat dissipation efficiency of heat emitted from the light emitting element.SOLUTION: The package for light emitting element storage includes: a ceramic base substance 11 made of a flat plate; a ceramic reflector 12 made of a flat plate provided with a tapered opening hole 13 in which opening diameter, on one principal surface side used for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting element 14 on a center part, is larger than an opening diameter on other principal surface side; lead terminals 15 and 15a made of Cu or Cu alloy plates, which are provided between any principal surface of the ceramic base substance 11 and the other principal surface of the ceramic reflector 12, are exposed from the opening hole 13 of the ceramic reflector 12, and protrude from outer peripheries of the ceramic base substance 11 and ceramic reflector 12; and a joining material 16 made of glass or resin for joining the ceramic base substance 11, ceramic reflector 12 and lead terminals 15, 15a. |
