<p>A device for a directed gas routing of primary air into a coke chamber oven is disclosed. The primary air is conducted through the coke chamber top into the gas space of a coke oven battery and is laterally deflected as it enters into the gas space of the coke chamber. Also disclosed is a method for lateral deflection of primary air after its entry into the coke oven chamber, thus improving the distribution of the primary air in the coke oven chamber.</p> |
