HANGER ASSEMBLY AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING FLOAT PLATE GLASS

Provided is a hanger assembly for suspending a refractory brick that forms a ceiling surface in a float bath roof of an apparatus for producing float plate glass. The hanger assembly is formed by locking supported members and supporting members using pins. The supporting members consist of: an extension part that extends in a direction of extension (P); an end part formed by two convex parts having through-holes which are provided in such a way that when one pin is inserted into the through-hole of one of the convex parts, said pin passes through the through-hole of the other convex part; and a linking part that joins the extension part and the end part. The linking part is tapered such that the dimensions of at least a portion thereof become larger from the extension part toward the end part.
