ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device and a driving method thereof are provided to compensate for the threshold voltage of a driving transistor and to include a minimum number of transistors in a pixel. CONSTITUTION: A scan driver drives scanning lines. A data driver(120) drives data lines. A pixel(140) controls a current. The current flows from a first power source part to a second power source part. An initial power part supplies a voltage. An initial power part turns on a driving transistor. A switching part(170) selectively connects the initial power part to the data driver. A compensation part(190) stores second data. The compensation part transfers the second data to the data driver. The second data is the threshold voltage of the driving transistor. A timing control part controls the scan driver, the data driver, and the compensation part.
