Estimates show that crude oil reserves are limited in time. Before e.g. the automotive industry, aeronautical industry, arms industry and aerospace industry will switch their combustion engines over to silane, hydrogen peroxide is preferably used as source of energy. According to the invention, hydrogen peroxide can be obtained in a power station process in which hydrocarbons that are contaminated with sulphur are combusted. The invention also relates to a novel system for transporting/conveying hydrogen peroxide.
