<p>The present invention provides a routing label distribution method and apparatus of virtual private network (VPN). The method includes: for each VPN on which a device has executed routing label distribution, configuring the strategy of VPN routing label distribution which includes a routing label distribution manner selected from two or more routing label distribution manners; and distributing labels for VPN routes according to the configured routing label distribution strategy. The embodiments also provide a corresponding apparatus. According to the technical schemes of the embodiments, the performance characteristics of the device and the routing label distribution manners can be combined, the device performance can be fully exerted, and the message forwarding performance of the device can be guaranteed.</p> |
