<p>A self closing push tap assembly comprising: a resiliently biased push cap (2) in communication with a valve, the valve being located between a source of water and a tap outlet and which, in use, regulates the flow of water from the source of water out of the tap outlet characterised in that the valve includes a valve member which is locatable and moveable between a first seal member and a second seal member, wherein the valve member is resiliently biased towards the first seal member such that in the off position it engages with the first seal member in a first sealing position, and that when fully depressed the valve member will engage with the second seal member (12b) in a second sealing position such that water will only flow out of the tap outlet as the valve member returns to the first seal member.</p> |
