PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle including function for arising caution to an occupant when there is a possibility of freezing of a road surface.SOLUTION: The lighting device 1 for the vehicle for lighting the road surface 100 at an outer side of a doorway 11 of the vehicle 10 has a light emission device 20 for throwing a light toward the road surface 100 in the state that a front side door 12 provided on the doorway 11 is opened; an external air temperature sensor 31 for detecting an external air temperature; and ECU 30 for controlling the light emission state of the light emission device 20 based on the external air temperature T detected by the external air temperature sensor 31. The light emission device 20 has a light emission color of red and blue, and the ECU 30 varies the light emission color of the light emission device 20 based on the external air temperature T detected by the external air temperature sensor 31. |
