摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure of a building allowing a viscoelastic damper to be built in between a sill and the lower end of a brace of the building without requiring much time and labor.SOLUTION: The vibration control structure of the building is constituted by connecting one end of the viscoelastic damper 16 formed by laminating a plurality of vibration absorbers 18 molded in plate shape out of a viscoelastic material and plate-like rigid members 19 alternately in close contact with each other, to the lower end of the brace 15 by a first connecting fitting 17a and connecting the other end of the viscoelastic damper 16 to the sill 11 extrusion-molded in hollow shape out of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, by a second connecting fitting 17b. The second connecting fitting 17b is provided with a plurality of connecting protrusions 33a, 33b fitted, from the longitudinal direction of the sill, to connection grooves 32a, 32b formed in the upper face of the sill 11 by extrusion molding.
