PURPOSE: A method for managing a television network system is provided to mange each television set by receiving state information from the television. CONSTITUTION: A server assigns address to a set domain of a memory device included in each television set. The server transmits a command to the address of the selected television set memory device. According to the command which is transmitted from the ser, the selected television performs the command. The memory device of the television set is included in the RF(Radio Frequency) modem. The command offered from the server is mapped to a command of IR(InfRared) protocol.
