Disclosed is a flattened heat pipe having an excellent capillary action while no steam flow channel being closed.  The flattened heat pipe comprises a sealed container formed by flattening a tubular container, a wick structure having plural wicks and so arranged longitudinally in the container as to form highly-capillary acute portions at least partially, a cavity portion formed by the outer periphery surface of the wick structure and the inner wall surface of the container, and a working liquid sealed in the container.
